Job description

You are the go-to person to educate potential customers and partners on our technical capabilities, and prepare and conduct demonstrations with our systems.


You’ll be the first local Technical Sales hire, and report to both North America Sale lead and the global Technical Sales team, who are there to support and guide you. Sounds good?

Responsibilities


  • Supporting Sales by acting as the POC technical inquiries;
  • Technical review and responses in proposal and marketing submissions;
  • Efficient and effective planning of demo’s in close cooperation with the sales team;
  • Make sure the equipment is being maintained, operational, and delivered where and when it’s needed;
  • Support during customer visits and other sales and marketing events;
  • Contact with clients, you will represent Robin Radar Systems to your best ability.

Job requirements

  • We expect you to have a technical education in electrical or mechanical engineering;
  • You like being on the road and are a practical and hands-on person;
  • You can work independently without supervision, and you show initiative in everything you do;
  • Highly organized, methodical, and capable of performing in stressful environments;
  • Superb communication and emotional intelligence skills – including written, verbal, and presentation skills in English. This position requires technical skills combined with an ability to think from a sales and marketing perspective;
  • Irregular working hours are likely;
  • Works well with salespeople and provide exceptional support to customers;
  • Be a team player and be “all in” regardless of the task or mission;
  • Extreme integrity and ability to do “the right thing”, even when no one is watching;
  • Verifiable track record of exceeding customers expectation and technical acumen;
  • A driving license (B) is a must. A trailer license (BE) will earn you personal praise and glory and can also be obtained during the job;
  • You live in Northern Virginia within commuting distance to the Dulles area and can support a hybrid work environment, no relocations are available.
