As a Service Support Engineer, you'll provide critical technical solutions, proactively address potential issues, and enhance our products through in-depth performance analysis. You'll also build strong customer relationships by offering tailored support both remotely and through occasional on-site visits. Reporting to the Head of Service & Support, you'll be part of a dynamic team, benefiting from strong leadership and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
You will be the guardian of our critical systems: ensuring optimal performance and reliability through proactive monitoring, technical analysis, and timely issue resolution. You will monitor system stability remotely for uptime and performance related metrics.
You will drive efficiency through detailed documentation of: maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. This will ensure efficient and reliable operations.
You will deliver exceptional support and solutions: providing our customers and internal teams first-line technical support, tackling software and hardware integration challenges and resolving complex issues remotely and during deployments.
You will uncover insights and drive improvement. Through in-depth analysis of our customer data, you will identify trends and patterns. This will not only help resolve complex issues, but through collaboration with internal teams will help you understand product limitations and ways to enhance our products.
You will shape the future of our products. By sharing user feedback with the Product and R&D Teams. you will support and provide insight on product improvements and user experience.
You will ensure system health. Through implementation of preventive strategies, and the utilization of monitor tools, you will be responsible of the detection and addressing of potential vulnerabilities before they impact performance.
You will identify product performance enhancements. Partner with customers in product performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and driving solutions through collaborative efforts.
Job requirements
BA or HBO degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or relevant field.
Over 3 years of working experience in IT support roles with emphasis on monitoring tools usage, database management systems and hardware configuration and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Linux, Ubuntu), networking protocols (VPNs) and scripting languages.
Experience and affinity with radar systems and their operations is a plus.
Fluency in English. A basic level of Dutch is an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creativity, attention to detail and structured approach for identifying issues and areas for improvement.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders across all cultures and backgrounds
