    • Den Haag, Netherlands
  • Development

Job description

Do you thrive in creating order, structure, and clarity in an agile environment? At Robin Radar, we're seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide our software teams toward greater efficiency, transparency, and success.

You'll support multiple teams within our established but evolving agile framework. Your primary focus will be facilitating agile ceremonies, streamlining processes, managing metrics, and optimising tooling to enable teams to excel. This is a critical role helping teams improve how they collaborate, deliver, and grow.

You’ll work closely with team leads, developers, product owners and report directly to the Head of Software.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) and ensure follow-up on action points leads to real improvement.

  • Serve as a true servant-leader, removing obstacles and helping teams reach peak performance.

  • Act as the primary contact for Quality Improvement initiatives, our Jira specialist, as well as the contact point for relevant external companies.

  • Actively track and manage agile metrics to drive continuous improvement.

  • Maintain and enhance agile tooling, primarily within the Atlassian suite.

  • Foster transparency, clear communication, and accountability across teams.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine processes and uphold agile principles.

Job requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master within agile software teams in an embedded/technical software environment.

  • Proven track record of facilitating multiple agile teams simultaneously.

  • Deep familiarity with Scrum and agile frameworks, ceremonies, and principles.

  • Strong experience or willingness to learn how to work with the Atlassian suite, together with Jira Automations and REST API.

  • Proficient in agile metrics and able to translate them into actionable insights.

  • Good collaboration and communication skills.

  • Good organisational and time management skills.

  • Good communication skills in English, and it would be great if you speak Dutch as well.

  • Live in The Netherlands, within commuting distance from The Hague. We expect you to be at least 3 days in the office.

Nice to Have

  • Basic technical understanding of radar technologies or software development.

  • Experience in scale-up environments and process optimisation.

  • Relevant agile certifications (e.g., PSM).

Additionally, depending on the role and its responsibilities we may request a certificate of conduct (VOG) before or during the employment period. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

N.B. All applicants, we realize that this is quite the list and people come with various levels of experience. Don't be afraid to apply even if you feel you don't meet every desired skill. Our mission is a journey and there's plenty to learn on the way!

But of course, you should identify with our core values: trust, responsibility & transparency.
