As our IT Applications Engineer, you will become the go-to expert who keeps our critical applications and infrastructure running flawlessly. Responsibilities
You will provide essential 1st and 2nd line support to the business for all company applications.
You will coordinate effectively with external consultants and application suppliers to ensure product delivery aligns with agreed specifications.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align application requirements and needs with overarching business objectives.
You will support the business proactively with its day-to-day application needs, including expert troubleshooting.
You will monitor the application landscape to ensure proper functioning, promptly identifying and addressing any problems.
You will proactively propose and implement improvements to continuously align the application landscape with evolving business needs.
You will manage and maintain up-to-date IT processes and security documentation, facilitating knowledge transfer both within and outside the IT team.
Job requirements
You have BA/HBO level or completed MBO in IT or relevant fields.
Over 3 years of experience with IT Applications or similar roles (supporting, managing, and optimizing enterprise software solutions).
Knowledge and experience in general IT, proficiency with tools such as Confluence, Jira and Google Workspace are a must.
Experience in an international/multi-cultural environment is a great plus
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Experience with system administration or security systems is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of privacy, sensitive data handling, and information security best practices.
Excellent analytical and process improvement skills and evaluate workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to also work independently.
