Are you ready to help in shaping a company’s security strategy? Join us as Information Security Manager and play a pivotal role in protecting our people, processes, and data.

As the Information Security Manager, you will serve as the point of contact for information security matters across the company. You will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. In this role, you will lead risk assessments, coordinate internal and external audits, manage security policies and procedures, and oversee awareness training programs. You will also drive cross-functional improvement initiatives and provide expert guidance to departments, helping to strengthen the company’s overall security posture. This role reports to the Head of Information Security.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and document information security policies and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date, compliant with regulations, and easily accessible to all employees.

  • Communicate policy updates and procedural changes across the organization to ensure alignment and awareness.

  • Support the execution of the information security strategy, including the coordination and facilitation of internal and external audits.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement, and take proactive steps to mitigate identified risks.

  • Organize and lead periodic awareness training programs to educate employees on security protocols, compliance requirements, and threat prevention strategies.

  • Act as a central point of contact for all information security-related matters, providing guidance and support to various departments.

  • Lead and oversee security improvement initiatives and projects across the organization to strengthen overall information security posture.

  • Investigate information security incidents, perform root cause analyses, and coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Job requirements

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or HBO degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, and Compliance.

  • Solid knowledge of security frameworks, IT management practices, and GDPR requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with security audits and assessments, particularly in relation to ISO 27001.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS2, as well as information security management systems.

  • Working knowledge of common security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS, antivirus, and others, is considered a strong plus.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Agile, proactive, and analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • A curious and innovative approach to tackling challenges with practical and creative solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and backgrounds.
