Job description
Like any great technology, it can do right and wrong. The steep rise of drones has resulted in a broad need to monitor and counter them. This so-called CUAS market ranges from protecting prisons, oil and gas installations and airports, to policing and defence. Netherlands based Robin Radar Systems is specialized in drone radars and one of the fastest growing players in this field.
As one of the team members in Robin's expansion in the Defence & Security markets, you will help take our international presence to the next level. You will be bridging cutting-edge radar solutions with Drone detection requirements in Defence, Police, Government Security and Critical Infrastructure markets. Are you ready to drive sales, amaze clients, and help shape the future of technology? As an Account Manager, you will drive B2B sales in assigned international markets. Your specific focus is on the Defence & Security markets, where you excel in delivering innovative solutions to clients. You will report to our Head of Defence & Security Sales, and also collaborating with our wider Marketing, Bid Management, Technical Sales and other support teams at our HQ in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
Lead sales efforts in assigned international markets with drone detection radar solutions for Defence and Security customers and partners;
Develop and execute a compelling account plan that captivates existing customers and entices new prospects;
Support pipeline growth and drive opportunities through in-person and virtual meetings with partners and customers, prospecting, and networking;
Create and deliver compelling presentations during conferences, exhibitions and product demonstrations;
Gather market/business intelligence on changes in the industry, from customer accounts, exhibitions, conferences, etc;
Be a brand ambassador for Robin Radar, playing a pivotal role in spreading its influence among potential technology partners and distribution channels.
Job requirements
10+ years of experience in technology and hardware sales as an Account Manager in a Defense, Security, or Aviation environment. Having a Military or Public Safety background is preferred;
Verifiable track record of exceeding sales goals while supporting the customer’s best interest;
Experience in developing proposals and white papers, sales methodologies, solution selling, and accurate pipeline reporting in a CRM tool;
Must have a positive outlook, operate independently, with the ability to “get things done”;
Be a team player and be “all in” regardless of the task or mission;
Extreme integrity and ability to do “the right thing”, even when no one is watching;
Passion for radar technology and commitment to our customer’s mission. Although you may not be an engineer, you can understand and communicate our technology effectively to various audiences;
Superb communications and emotional intelligence skills – including written, verbal, and presentation skills in English;
You live in the Netherlands within commuting distance to Robin’s HQ in The Hague and can support a hybrid work environment, no relocations are available.
