Job description

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the company’s financial obligations to suppliers and service providers—ensuring invoices, payments, and related documentation are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal policies and regulations. You'll handle daily reconciliations, maintain vendor relationships, support ERP users, and help improve our P2P processes. The role reports directly to the Financial Controller and offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment where precision and collaboration are key.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor setup, invoice verification, and processing in accordance with P2P policies.

  • Preparation and submission of payments and electronic transfers within deadlines.

  • Daily bank reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.

  • Regular account reconciliations to ensure accurate transaction records.

  • Vendor relationship management and issue resolution.

  • Processing and reviewing employee expense reports in line with company policies.

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with WKR legislation.

  • Enforcing compliance with P2P group policies and accounting regulations.

  • Providing ERP training to new purchase users and supporting system compliance.

  • Proposing and implementing improvements in AP processes and controls.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax, and financial reporting regulations.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, or similar).

  • High attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and teams.
